Olala is a tech-driven hospitality and real estate management company operating across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. As part of a larger hospitality group, we manage a diverse portfolio of over 1,200 accommodation units—including short-term rentals, hotels, and boutique properties—along with 10 food and beverage venues.

We are launching an initiative to integrate longevity and wellness programs across select properties in our hospitality portfolio. We seek a Director to lead the development and implementation of these offerings across multiple sites with the intention to scale.

Your role

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for leading and overseeing all pastry and dessert production across multiple properties in Sinaia.

This role focuses on creating high-quality, innovative desserts and baked goods while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

The Pastry Chef will collaborate closely with the culinary team to develop seasonal offerings, ensure food safety compliance, and enhance the guest experience through exceptional pastry creations.

Your Journey

• Manage and supervise the pastry team, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a positive work environment.
• Work alongside the Executive Chef to align pastry production with the overall culinary vision.
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff to uphold quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and presentation.
• Design and execute innovative pastry and dessert menus that align with seasonal and company themes.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry offerings.
• Stay up to date with modern pastry trends and techniques, integrating them into the menu where appropriate.
• Develop and test new recipes while ensuring cost-effectiveness and minimizing waste.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with HACCP and company policies.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on all pastry products to ensure excellence in taste and presentation.
• Ensure all ingredients and baked goods are stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
• Implement best practices for kitchen cleanliness, workflow efficiency, and equipment maintenance.
• Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or standalone bakery / pastry shop setting.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate work, sugar artistry, and baking principles.
• Experience in menu development and the execution of large-scale pastry production.
• Familiarity with HACCP and other food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment.
