We’re looking for a Senior Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer (Azure) to join our team!

We need a self-motivated, energetic individual that is a technology advocate and specialist on DevOps. As a Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer you will support cloud resource management and migration efforts. This role includes writing infrastructure as code, guiding teams through Azure subscription migrations, contributing to technical guidance documentation and implementing minor improvements to our Azure Kubernetes deployment processes

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT :

Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions, including exit strategies;
Managing and monitoring cloud infrastructures for optimal performance and cost-efficiency, automating deployments with Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates;
Ensuring data protection and compliance, and collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services;
Conducting disaster recovery planning and implementing backup strategies;
Optimising resource utilisation, keeping up to date with Azure updates, and providing technical support;
Developing and maintaining documentation, facilitating legacy system migrations, and managing security and access controls;
Implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated data protection practices;
Supporting cloud adoption, ensuring performance standards, and participating in a 24 / 7 on-call rotation for technical escalations.

Requirements

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

5+ years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure Cloud;

Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization of cloud platforms;

Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions;

Experience in the design, migration and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systems;

Experience working within an Agile framework;

Experience in IaC development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible;

Proficient with GIT to perform source code management;

Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps;

Experience with Jira and ServiceNow;

Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI / CD tooling;

Experience with AWS, GCP or other cloud providers is an advantage.

Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners;

Fluency in English.
