FPGA Design Engineer - Contract (Outside IR35)
We're supporting a specialist engineering organisation delivering advanced safety-critical systems across regulated industries. They're looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join on a contract basis (outside IR35) , contributing to a key phase of a high-reliability hardware programme.
This is an opportunity to apply your FPGA expertise on Real Time, Embedded systems that demand precision, integrity, and certification-ready design.
Key Responsibilities :
- Full life cycle FPGA development using VHDL - from architecture and coding through to simulation and testbench creation
- Work to stringent quality and traceability standards, including DO- compliance
- Close collaboration with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate FPGA designs into wider platforms
- Documentation and technical reporting to meet project milestones and certification needs
