Our client is the owning company of a multi-use c omplex in Bucharest, Romania, which comprises Class A Offices, Premium Shopping Mall, and a top class hotel.
- This new position requires a unifying leadership approach to integrate and oversee the full operational scope on the non-hotel side.
The Managing Director will directly lead a core team of ~15 professionals responsible for the technical, administrative, and financial aspects of the non-hotel parts of the business.
There are few hundreeds hotel employees remain under the hotel management.
The role reports to the Board of Directors in central Europe and collaborates closely with the hotel management team.You will be the central operational and strategic point of contact for all non-hotel business functions, ensuring alignment with the owner’s vision and driving the long-term value of the entire complex.Full P&L and strategic responsibility for non-hotel operations of the complexDrive digitalization, sustainability, and operational excellenceManage external stakeholders (tenants, agencies, authorities)Oversee investment and maintenance budgetsEnsure alignment with the group contractual complianceRepresent the company in external affairs and legal contextsin this role are :Min. 10 years of experience in property or real estate management (ideally corporate zone, office and / or commercial related)Proven leadership experience at an executive levelStrong stakeholder management, negotiation, and financial oversight capabilitiesExperience in complex mixed-use facilitiesFluent in Romanian and EnglishUniversity degree in Business, Real Estate, or similar fieldsA strategic thinker with an ownership mindsetScope of Responsibilities :
Lead overall operations of the non-hotel businessDefine and execute company strategy in alignment with the ownerDrive value creation for the ComplexEnsure collaboration and compliance with hotel operatorReport directly to the Central Europe board of ownersManage and develop the internal teamPromote digitalization and sustainabilityEnsure legal and regulatory complianceLiaise with legal counsel and external stakeholders (tenants, authorities, suppliers)Oversee investment budgets and represent the company externallyQualifications :
University degree in Business, Real Estate, or related fieldSolid knowledge of real estate and hospitality sectorsMin. 8-10 years in real estate, including min. 4-5 in senior managementProven team leadership and development experienceStrong command of English and Romanian; software proficiencyPersonal Traits :
