We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Team Lead to join the team during an exciting period of transformation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Financial Oversight : Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy and integrity, while identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Leadership in Month-End and Year-End Closing : Drive the closing processes, preparing
journal entries, financial statements, and reconciliations efficiently
Advanced Financial Reporting : Prepare and present financial reports tailored for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and regulationsCritical Variance Analysis : Perform in-depth financial analysis, investigate variances, and provide strategic insights to senior managementProcess Ownership & Optimization : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and accounting operationsAudit & Compliance Leadership : Collaborate with auditors and ensure full readiness for financial audits, providing necessary documentation and strategic insightsCross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various departments to ensure financial alignment with business objectives and support decision-makingPolicy & Regulation Adherence : Ensure full compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant financial regulationsWhat We’re Looking For :
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within a company undergoing transformation or rapid growthExperience in coordinating teamsStrong knowledge of GAAP, German HGB, and experience with SAP and Microsoft ExcelA self-starter mindset with the ability to learn independently, take ownership of projects, and bring innovative solutions to the tableExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data in a meaningful wayStrong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlinesEffective communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to seniormanagement and influence decision-making
