Working closely with other departments, offering support to our colleagues, we are looking for you, a hands-on Senior Finance Specialist highly organized and process-driven, with desire to learn and grow in our team.
Being part of our team, you will have ownership on the following :
Financial Planning :
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and ensures related reporting, in alignment with organizational goals
- Monitor financial performance, provides insights and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare specific reports based on business needs
- Initiate and coordinate projects and initiatives in line with organization needs
Financial compliance :
Prepare, analyze and ensure accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g. accounts reconciliations, balance sheet, income statement, cash-flow statement, etc.)Perform monthly closing processes (statutory and corporate)Perform operational accounting tasksOrganize and manage financial and accounting documentsOrganize the preparation of the annual financial reportPlan accounting activities and establish operational and administrative procedures for the departmentMonitor and help with accounting tasks, deadlines, and document accuracyEnsure compliance with reporting and regulatory standards, implement and maintain internal controls to ensure complianceCoordinate tax, financial, and accounting auditsContribute to the development of accounting policies and the implementation into relevant ERP systemTax compliance :
Tax statements : ensures compliance with tax legislation and helps with tax statements preparationRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field5+ years of progressive experience in finance controlling, accountingIn-depth knowledge of local accounting standards, tax legislationStrong understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g. GAAP)Relevant experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and complianceProven experience in leading / coordinating projects and initiativesDemonstrates strong and effective verbal, writing and interpersonal communication skillsStrong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems and processesAdvanced proficiency in accounting and ERP software (Oracle preferred)Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, business intelligence tools can be an advantage (e.g. Power BI)Excellent organizational and time management skills, with high attention to detail and accuracyStrategic mindset with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunitiesStrong ability to take initiative and deliver results autonomouslyFluent in English, both speech and writtenCPA certification can be an advantage (e.g. CECCAR membership)Benefits
