Join Our Team as a Customer Desk Specialist!
The Customer Desk Specialist acts as the main logistics interface between the plant's supply chain organization and customers. They provide necessary information promptly and professionally, manage demand / orders, and execute shipment plans efficiently to meet customer demands while following internal processes.
What You’ll Do :
Order Management : Integrate customer orders and forecasts into SAP, including new or transferred orders. Check weekly customer demand against capacity and communicate any deviations internally.
Demand Forecasting : Monitor and analyze demand forecasts, implement corrective actions to improve accuracy, and follow specific instructions for demand arbitration.
Logistics Interface : Serve as the daily logistics contact between the plant and customers, ensuring compliance with delivery plans, following up on delayed deliveries, and optimizing special shipments.
Complaint Handling : Address logistic complaints, implement improvement actions, and ensure closure of logistics claims.
Performance Monitoring : Monitor and report delivery performance, manage daily / weekly verification and follow-up on recovery plans, and define actions to improve performance.
Customer Relationship : Manage customer relationships, handle communication, follow customer-specific requirements, and monitor customer satisfaction to define improvement actions.
Collaboration : Work with production planning and logistics departments to ensure timely deliveries, participate in meetings, and support production transfers and new standards.
Administrative Tasks : Operate planning tools and SAP, adjust references internally, track and update re-invoicing costs, and provide proof of delivery as needed. Support internal / external audits and fulfill other tasks assigned by the manager.
What We Need :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience :
3+ years in multinational companies
2+ years in supply chain
2+ years in customer management.
Skills : Excellent communication skills in English, both technical and non-technical. Strong computer and organizational skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in SAP.
