Lenovo, the Number 1 Supercomputing provider in the world measured by Top 500 entries, is looking for a seasoned storage focused HPC Consultant to join its Global HPC Professional Services team. You will be part of a global HPC team supporting customers and deploying projects primarily in the EMEA region but on occasion worldwide. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.

This role is open to Bulgaria, Germany, Romania and the United Kingdom.

What You will do :

  • Implement and deliver HPC Cluster, Storage, and AI solution services around Lenovo products
  • Perform Solution optimization, migration, upgradation and recommend strategies
  • Operate on-site (includes travel) or remotely
  • Work collaboratively, complementary with the hardware sales team, technical sales (presales) team, and Business Partners and on a billable basis (customer-paid projects)
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required for project implementation and support

What You bring :

  • Strong focus on Storage technology – design, deployment, and configuration
  • Proven track record in Data Management including encryption, backup, and recovery in HPC environments. In-depth knowledge of HPC Storage Hardware
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies relevant to HPC storage, including InfiniBand, Ethernet, and RDMA.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize storage performance including tuning and troubleshooting. Familiarity with security best practices to protect storage systems including encryption, access control, and compliance.

    • You have experience with :

  • HPC storage clustered / distributed / parallel filesystems and scale-out storage technologies for example GPFS, Lustre, Ceph, BeeGFS, WEKA.
  • Storage migration methods and in-depth knowledge of DSS-G storage product. Automation and script deployment processes for repeatability and standardization.
  • Ethernet, InfiniBand, and OPA network technologies
  • Experience in Linux Suse, RHEL & CentOS). Experience in HPC system troubleshooting and support. Knowledge of performing Storage benchmarks IO500; and Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
