Job Overview
Tasks :
- Interface with suppliers regarding quality-related issues.
- Continuously improve supplier performance through training, guidance, motivation, incentives, restrictions, and disqualification.
- Measure and communicate supplier performance.
- Collaborate with development engineers to clarify and change specifications regarding raw materials where necessary.
- Communicate and reinforce TE requirements and expectations to suppliers.
- Request, monitor, and review corrective / preventive actions at suppliers.
- Ensure the quality reception of materials delivered from suppliers.
- Manage supplier complaints in the SAP system and track completion of 8D reports by the supplier.
- Provide support to quality inspectors by creating instructions for verifying materials received from suppliers.
- Conduct training for quality inspectors based on project requirements.
Requirements :
Bachelor Degree in Engineering (process, production, or a related discipline)1-3 years of experience in productionFluent in EnglishTechnical Knowledge : 5Why, 8D, Ishikawa, SAPPC Skills : Microsoft Office, SAPAbility to travel 5% of the timeGood communication skillsWHAT TE CONNECTIVITY OFFERS :
