Position Description
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for entire spectrum of Human Resources function, and works closely with our global competence centers as well as our global business partner team. The HR Manager is involved in all aspects of the employee life cycle : talent acquisition and branding, employee engagement and retention, learning and development, total rewards, company programs and policies and employment law compliance.
Primary responsibilities
- Establish, develop and / or transform HR principles, policies, guidelines and processes are applied in the countries of the region integrating QIAGEN standards with local cultural norm and practices
- Manage the social relations and the meetings with the employee representatives (if the case) by guaranteeing the maintenance of a serene social relations context, in compliance with the application of the labor code and social dialog legislation
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current employment laws and HR Best Practices; interpret applicability of employment law and company policy
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with client groups; proactively lead and drive the delivery of HR programs and processes
- Manage and ensure process compliance of all operational topics related the employee life cycle in the countries and coach managers in all HR topics
- Provide training to the managers and employees in assistance of the Global Development & Training team
- Drive employee engagement through culture and belonging via employer branding and well-being initiatives
- Participate to regional or global projects to develop HR programs and services continuously
- Recommend process improvements to maximize efficiency considering many parts of HR operations processes are executed by an off-site service team
- Assist in the communication, interpretation of the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational charts and updating according to ensure compliance with labour local and changes in local policies
- Serve as HR advisor to managers and employees in relation to absence and health issues, grievance matters, organizational changes and other employee-relations matters
- Perform administrative duties as required
Position Requirements
University degree in business administration, psychology, behavioral sciences, law or similar or an alternative combination of education and experience5+ years of HR Manager experience in a similar region including HR operations background for / in RomaniaFluency in English language with the ability to communicate effectively both written and orallyExperience of working in a global matrix organization is preferred, with the ability to work independentlyHands-on attitude with the ability to proactively make recommendations leading to local pragmatic solutionsAvailable to travel as needed and up to 10%Personal Requirements
