Our team thrives on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. We’re currently looking for a System Engineering Specialist which will be in charge of the definition and implementation of standards for the cloud and on-premise platforms, components and systems.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business :
- Definition and implementation of standards for the cloud and on-premise platforms, components and systems
- Ensuring and implementing security and connectivity requirements
- Definition of technical details and ordering request towards the according datacenter ( GDC data center Ratingen, data center Berlin)
- Advises departments and projects in the selection of infrastructure services, architectures and ensures their provision and usability
- Definition and conception of standards in the areas of cloud, virtualization, containers and container orchestration systems, including an associated shared responsibility model
- Buildup and further development of infrastructure as code components ( for AWS services, Kubernetes, container solutions)
- Development and definition of the architectural specifications for platforms, components and systems based on the business strategy
- Advice and support for departments in the introduction and use of cloud services
With these skills you are a great candidate :
Knowledge of IT architectures and IT service management processes (ITIL) and business processes (PPM, internal ordering and communication processes, etc.)High resilience and experience in crisis management for the subject-related topicsKnowledge of dealing with complex technical issues and for solving problems as well as preparing information for the addressees Practical experience in the field of public cloud solutions, setting up and managing infrastructure as code ( at AWS Services, Kubernetes, container solutions (Docker)) >3 years
Safe handling in the area of automation and configuration management of infrastructure and software deployments (Jenkins, groovy, Nexus, Bitbucket, Ansible, etc.) >3 years
Several years of professional experience in IT, preferably in IT operations, IT consulting or IT architecture >5 years
Good technical knowledge of the technologies and products used in large, heterogeneous IT infrastructures and the services they provideGood knowledge of server and client hardware, operating systems, databases and standard applications (ERP, CRM, billing)Sounds like the perfect job?
