DB Global Technology develops cutting-edge software applications and data solutions for the Deutsche Bank’s global operations and represents a platform for highly skilled software engineers. The team members specialize in Architecture, Data Management, Functional / Business Analysis.

The Private Bank Divisional Data Office is driving forward Data Management for Private Bank Division. In close collaboration between business and IT we assure compliance with Deutsche Bank Group Data Policy by assigning data roles, managing the documentation of data flows, casting data requirements into enterprise data models, optimize data quality across the division, and coordinating Private Banks data delivery through the group data hub.

We are looking for a person who has the drive and the ability to understand the business processes and technical side within the bank, who understands the requirements defined by regulatory compliance and top management and drive complex challenges into structured solutions.

The Data Quality Expert provides governance and supports the Divisional Data Office to manage Data Management risk in Private Bank. He / she plays a proactive role in knowledge management to promote Data Governance methods and standards and ensures appropriate application of the Data Management processes.

• Key contact in the Private Bank Division for Reference Data, including coordination of relevant change activities
• Manage Private Bank’s adoption of group-wide Reference Data taxonomy & hierarchy (e.g., products reference data, organizational reference data, instruments reference data)
• Provide solutions for ‘tagging’ of Private Bank’s business data with adequate Reference Data identifiers (incl. development and maintenance of the relevant concepts)
• Close exchange and alignment with stakeholders and Reference Data experts in the Private Bank, the Group Head of Reference Data as well as Group Infrastructure Functions (e.g., Risk, Finance and Treasury)
• Analise and support remediation of Reference Data-related data challenges & Data Quality issues
• Maintain documentation of E2E Data Lineage between data producers and consumers covering Private Bank data flows
• Expert in Reference Data Management and very good knowledge of the relevant data regulations for the banking sector (e.g., GDPR, BCBS239)
• Very good knowledge of banking products and key banking processes
• Experience in senior stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
• Open minded team player : making different people work together well across the world
• Fluent in English (written / verbal)
• Excellent knowledge in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good understanding of data warehousing / data lake solutions
• Ability to understand systems architecture
