Staff Engineer (Remote)

We’re hiring : Staff Engineer

We’re supporting one of Europe’s most recognized e-commerce brands in finding a permanent Staff Engineer to help modernize and scale their software platforms.

Location : Remote from Romania (with a site in Bucharest for monthly visits)

Travel : Occasional visits to Düsseldorf

Contract : Permanent, not open to contractors

Interview Process : 3 stages – HR, technical deep-dive, cultural fit (no take-home tasks)

Technical Environment :

• Stack : Java, , AWS, MuleSoft (tech agnostic at this level)
• Dev Culture : Clean operational code, robust code reviews, CI / CD, monitoring
• Team : Highly experienced engineers, collaborative knowledge-sharing culture
• Focus : Building stable, maintainable systems that support long-term business value
• Communication : Clear, consistent collaboration across teams is essential
