DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

What is Private Bank?

Private Bank (PB), operating through two distinct business units of Private Bank Germany (PBG) and the International Private Bank (IPB), covers private, wealth and commercial clients across more than 60 countries.

PBG is Germany’s leading retail bank with two highly complementary brands, Deutsche Bank and Postbank, serving approximately 19 million clients. We target clients who are seeking advisory solutions with Deutsche Bank offerings and those looking for convenience through the Postbank offerings. In cooperation with Deutsche Post DHL AG, we also offer postal and parcel services in the Postbank branches.

IPB is an international Private Bank with a diversified business mix. Our core scalable business is in continental Europe, but we also have a profitable and fast-growing presence in Asia and the Middle East and we operate one of the leading UHNW franchises in the United States. Under IPB’s Personal Banking segment, we serve around three million clients, primarily in Italy and Spain.

What will you do :

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by following good practices and habits;
• Develop, test and document Java-based software components in accordance with requirements;
• Maintenance of Java-based software components in accordance with requirements;
• Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle;
• Identify and resolve any technical issue arising;
• Write unit tests for robustness, edge cases and general reliability;
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code;
• Support QA team to provide high quality;
• Work in a scaled Agile working environment;
• Be part of a global and diverse team;

Your skills and experience :

3+ years of software development experience (Java, Spring);

You can write simple code that solves the overall problem;

Good understanding of REST;

Good understanding of design patterns, awareness / understanding of SOLID principles;

Good knowledge of Data structures / Collections;

Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle);

Good communication, interpersonal skills, team player;

Ability to work in a global multi-cultural environment.

Nice to have :

Experience with Cloud Platform (specifically GCP);

Experience with React;

Knowledge and experience of agile values, principles and methods (e.g. based on SCRUM or Kanban).

Prior experience working in a CI / CD environment;
