Data Center Technician

Contract : Data Centre Technician

Location : On site working in Haifa, Yokneam or Tel Aviv Israel

Schedule : Sunday to Thursday (Standard business hours 9am - 6pm)

Rate : $30-40 USD per hour

Contract Type : 12 months extendable

Clearance : Must be able to pass a background check

Start Date : August or Sep

Contract roles for experienced Data Center Technicians or NOC engineers to support the daily operations of one of three mission-critical data center environments. The roles are hands-on and will be responsible for maintaining server hardware, supporting network infrastructure, performing physical installations and decommissions, and ensuring environmental and operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, move, and decommission IT equipment (Servers, Switches, Routers, storage).
• Perform hardware diagnostics, break / fix support, and RMA processing.
• Monitor and respond to alerts from infrastructure, environmental, and power monitoring systems.
• Perform regular inspections of data center systems including HVAC, power, fire suppression, and cabling.
• Coordinate with IT, facilities, and network teams to support maintenance, upgrades, and deployments.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and consumables using asset management tools.
• Conduct structured cabling tasks including fiber and copper patching, labeling, and troubleshooting.
• Support remote hands activities and assist with system configuration as required.
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and escalation protocols.
• Provide timely documentation of activities, incidents, and updates in ticketing systems.
