Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will contribute to the work of the digital products team and ensure that new and existing products meet high standards of usability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Play an active part in the product team throughout the Lifecycle to collaborate on the analysis, design, development and testing .
• Actively participate in release planning meetings to create stories with acceptance criteria by helping identify missing or incomplete requirements
• Maintain and develop new strategies for Automation framework and all related automation activities.
• Creates and Executes automated scripts for regression, integration, and functional testing on newly designed or modified applications / systems
• Clearly articulates verbally and in writing the specifics around defects
• Monitors and updates defect reports as needed to ensure timely problem resolution
• Performs application and project risk analysis and recommends quality improvements
• Independently follows up with design / development resources regarding defects
• Communicates in a clear and concise manner all time delays or defects in the software immediately to appropriate team members and management
• Mentor and coach team members, new team members
• Evaluate solution to design, script and execute Performance tests (Load, Stress)
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
