Job Description

Essential experience

• Data buffering - we are losing data on busy VM's.
• Config.alloy - best practice for writing alloy configs, there are multiple ways of collecting data with different resource overheads
• Data labelling - best practise for data labelling with minimal resource impact
• Documentation on configuring Alloy (options, format, labels, best practices, limitations)
• Default config.alloy written for 2x critical systems that we can then build from.

Desirable experience

Architecture : rubber stamp our use of alloy / loki / mimir on OpenShift

OTEL : C++ / Java code instrumentation - we are starting to use OTEL standards to instrument our applications and our dev teams are asking for best practice
