Join Our Team as Senior Quality System Leader!
The role is responsible for ensuring that plant processes comply with business and customer-specific requirements as perIATF 16949 / ISO 9001 and Garrett standards. This compliance enables all manufacturing sites to maintain IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 certifications. The role involves onboarding and supporting QMS engineers worldwide, coordinating all Garrett plants and functions to review and take actions to ensure compliance with all Customer Specific Requirements. Additionally, the role requires stepping in to overcome roadblocks between sites, global functions, and external certification bodies, ensuring that sites close external audit IATF non-conformities on time or avoid non-conformities whenever possible.
What You’ll Do :
- Monitor and support implementation of new customer-specific requirements across global sites.
- Lead improvement projects for the Quality Management System.
- Support external audits and maintain certifications continuity.
- Coordinate internal audits’ (approx. 200 annually) planning, execution and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
- Conduct system / process audits and GEM assessments.
- Coach and mentor QMS engineers from manufacturing sites.
What We Need :
Engineering degree or equivalent.Certified IATF 16949 2nd Party Auditor.7+ years in automotive quality management.3+ years of team leadership experience.Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 , and Automotive Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP).Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and follow-up.Excellent English communication skills.Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing.BENEFITS
