Tax Intern

We have an opportunity for a Tax Intern  to join us at Honeywell in Bucharest, RO.   This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model - (Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week).

• Tax Intern’s responsibilities :
• Produces VAT return information from the accounting system.
• Maintains the accuracy of VAT transactions on the accounting systems by reviewing the VAT issues log and other specific checks (as needed);
• Checks relevant documents according to conformity with local and international taxes regulations
• Meets country deadlines in terms of VAT payments / VAT return submissions
• May participate in the SAP implementation of new businesses within EMEA
• Review and updates the reconciliation of the VAT control accounts and records.
• Assists and supports team members in their investigation of reconciling differences
• May prepare internal / external reporting as required
• Produces routine reports, schedules, and summaries for management.
