We are looking for an experienced RPG Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications using RPG language.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG (RPG III / IV / ILE / Free) on IBM i platform
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, project management, and end users
  • Document code and processes for future maintenance and upgrades

Requirements

  • Strong experience with RPG programming on IBM i (AS / 400)
  • Familiarity with CL, DB2 / 400, and SQL
  • Highly experienced with DB2 and stored procedures
  • Knowledge of AS / 400 and iSeries is required
  • Migration of legacy systems experience preferred
  • Experience with modern RPG (Free Format, ILE) is a plus
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
