About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale airport infrastructure project , focused specifically on runway construction . This is a €10–20 million project with full relocation support.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the runway works—from planning and execution to final delivery—while managing contractors, budgets, and timelines on-site in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of runway construction from mobilization to handover
Manage local contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure runway standards are met
Ensure strict compliance with aviation authority standards and safety regulations
Track progress against project timelines and budget
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality control teams
Conduct regular site visits and solve on-ground issues proactively
Report project milestones and risks to senior management regularly

Candidate Profile

3–5 years of experience as a Project Manager in large airport infrastructure or runway construction projects

Proven track record managing construction projects worth €10–20 million

Strong understanding of airfield grading, asphalt or concrete paving, and quality compliance for aviation works

Confident managing multi-stakeholder teams and working in international environments

Willing to relocate and live in Africa’s most stable and modern cities for the project duration
