SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) supports mission-critical operations for businesses worldwide. The Database Services team within ECS ensures high-performance, secure, and resilient database landscapes across SAP’s private cloud environments. As a  Database Operations Expert in Bucharest, you’ll lead strategic initiatives that keep SAP’s database infrastructure running at its best.

Bring it

You’re a seasoned database administrator with deep technical expertise and a passion for operational excellence. You bring :

15+ years of experience managing SAP HANA , ASE , or other RDBMS platforms

Strong knowledge of backup and recovery , performance tuning , and high availability strategies

Experience with automation tools , scripting, and system optimization

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

A proactive mindset and strong documentation skills

Build it

You’ll drive continuous improvement across SAP’s database operations, supporting critical business systems. Your work will :

Lead infrastructure re-architecture and new technology adoption

Manage installations, upgrades, and performance optimization

Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness

Support strategic pilot projects and global delivery initiatives

Collaborate across teams to deliver stable, efficient database services
