The team is part of the worldwide Financing Production IT department, which oversees the life cycle and management of information systems. The applications within scope are covering data flows such as synthetic and cash prime brokerage, collateral management, pre-deal checks, position keeping. The department is present in Paris, Bucharest, Chennai, Montreal. The financing chain consists of a suite of meso and microservices used to integrate asset optimization, referential management, clearing, booking, product events and payment for operations, corporate actions, valuation, position management, restrictions management, pre-deal checks, client reporting and access to client platforms.

Specifically, you will be required to :

  • Oversee application compliance for your portfolio in respect to bank and industry standards or regulations;
  • Act as the main facilitator for business, development and infrastructure teams, especially in crisis calls;
  • Spearhead tribe initiatives to mitigate bank risks. Design and develop integration patterns, contribute to proof of concepts and best practices adoption, including devops;
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions using modern development practices such as clean code, automated testing, monitoring / alerting and secure by design;
  • Manage disaster recovery events, infrastructure, security and software upgrades in coordination with global infrastructure teams;
  • Build and setup right tooling for improving the existing architecture, services and processes in terms of infrastructure, quality, resiliency, performance and cost;
  • Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high-quality features.

Profile required

  • At least 5 years of experience with application support or software development;
  • Good knowledge of networking concepts, system & microservice architecture, disaster recovery, unix and windows web server ecosystem and tooling;
  • Good knowledge of SQL, automated deployment, test automation tools and industry practices;
  • Working experience with unix or windows shells (and scripting in general);
  • Terraform, .NET / Java 21 / python, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, JS with Angular / React, Azure would be a plus;
  • You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings.
