We are currently looking for a HSE advisor at the European level who will subordinate the responsibles in the factories andwill be directlysubordinatedto the HR Regional Manager, a highly professional candidate witha proven track record of successfully implementing best practices at theoperational and procedural level. Previous experience in effectively executingand maintaining high standards is essential

Jobcontent

• Key responsibilities in safety are :

oSupporting the development of EHS policies and programs

oAdvising and instructing on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery LOTO, etc.)

oDeveloping and conducting risk assessment and enforce preventative measures

oReviewing existing policies and measures and update according to legislation

oInitiating and organizing OHS training of employees and executives

oInspecting premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity ( not using protective equipment)

oOverseeing installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.

oStopping any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy

oRecording and investigating incidents to determine causes (and handle worker’s compensation claims)

oPreparing reports on occurrences and providing statistical information to upper management

oEstablishing the waste management governance system

oDeveloping and implementing procedures and flows for disposing of (non) hazardous materials

oOverseeing design and implementation of waste disposal systems

oCollating statistics and compile reports

oEvaluating waste management options and applying a waste hierarchy model in order to reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, and dispose of waste material.

oConducting research and analytical studies on a variety of waste management programs and issues.

oAiming to meet waste reduction and recycling targets

oInitiating and organizing waste management trainings

oDeveloping and updating waste management policies and procedures

oDeveloping projects and contributing the activities of global groups concerned with waste disposal

oParticipating in auditing processes, including approvals, water monitoring reports, engineering designs, and contingency planning.

oStaying informed with respect to waste management regulations and ensure regulations are being adhered to.
