DevOps Engineer (m / f / d) in the AI team

We are looking for a dedicated DevOps expert who is passionate about managing and optimizing system infrastructures. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Kubernetes infrastructure, GitLab CI / CD pipelines, DB management, system deployment and maintenance, and collaboration with various teams in the AI team.

What you can expect :

Design, implementation and optimization of CI / CD pipelines with GitLab and automation of deployment processes
Management and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure with a focus on Kubernetes and Docker in AWS Ecosystem
Implementation and management of monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to monitor system health
Responsibility for the deployment, documentation and quality of systems in the Cloud / Kubernetes environment
Development and operation of high-availability architectures and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies
Setting up and operating DevSecOps practices using common methods and tools from the CI / CD world
Perform administration, monitoring and maintenance of containerized service components and technologies
Support and monitoring of various database and messaging systems (such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Vector DBs, Knowledge Graphs) with a focus on performance and stability
Bonus : Support in the AI team with infrastructural requirements in the environment of MLOps tasks

What you bring with you :

Several years of proven experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure - experience with MLOps and LLMs is advantageous

Sound knowledge of working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python and shell scripting

Deep understanding of CI / CD processes and Infrastructure as Code (especially Terraform)

Extensive experience with cloud services and technologies (AWS)

Experience with logging systems, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and the maintenance of data-intensive systems

Expertise in network architecture, security and DevSecOps practices

Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems

Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical details to a non-technical audience

Conversational German and good English skills
