Job description

We are looking for a  Laboratory Technician for a major road infrastructure project in Romania, to join our team.

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laboratory Technician to oversee and / or perform testing activities for concrete, aggregates, and earthworks in a motorway project. The successful candidate will give his full support to the Senior Laboratory Technician of reference in order to produce tests reports and technical documents in accordance with project specifications, European standards, and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with technical standards for the performed tests;

Analyze tests results;

Maintain a quality assurance system;

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards (European and Romanian Legislation for roads), including health and safety regulations;

Work closely with the Senior Laboratory Technician of reference to approve technical procedures for testing;

Work closely with the Senior Laboratory Technician of reference for training and implementing the quality assurance system;

Work closely with the Senior Laboratory Technician of reference to organize and implement the sample management system;

Review and identify any potential issues or concerns related to the testing activities of reference.
