Societe Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solutions center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high quality professional services in over 35 countries in various business areas - Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. The team is part of the Financial Prime Brokerage department, which oversees the life cycle and management for DPS (Dynamic Portfolio Swap) synthetic and physical products (bonds, equities, equity options) and is present in Paris, Bucharest, London, Montreal. The platform consists of a suite of microservices used to integrate clearing, booking, product events and payment for operations, corporate actions, valuation, position management, restrictions management, pre-deal checks, client reporting and access to a client platform (SG Market).

What you will do :

  • Discuss, understand and document client business requirements to support software and business process development;
  • Have a keen eye for details - writing clear acceptance criteria, functional and technical documentation is second nature to you;
  • Create user stories and participate in the testing phases to validate the deliveries before production;
  • Provide L3 support on application in Production environment, when needed;
  • Drive innovation and contribute with new ideas for the existing architecture, services and processes;
  • Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high quality features.

Profile required

  • Good domain knowledge in capital markets and investment banking, 5+ years of experience;
  • Prime brokerage or asset (bond, swap, TRS, option) knowledge is a plus
  • Understand and apply agile practices;
  • Database SQL knowledge - ability to query and interact with the datastore;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent;
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings.
