Role : Cloud Integration Engineer

As a Cloud Integration Engineer  you are in charge to setup, integrate, configure and deploy various type of cloud native IBS products based on Kubernetes and Docker technologies.

This could be done on private cloud infrastructure based on a Kubernetes cluster (on top of bare metal or virtual environment) or public cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure.

In addition to the Kubernetes cluster, you will be in charge also of the setup and configuration of various type of managed services such as monitoring system, logging system, authentication system, message-broker service, load-balancing, database service, or various type of persistence repository (file system, object storage).

You will perform those activities via various type of automation tools and scripting (CI / CD, Infrastructure as Code).

Specific Responsabilities :

Development duties :

  • Setup, integrate, configure and deploy various type of cloud native IBS products based on kubernetes and docker technologies
  • Adapt the automated configuration script (e.g. Ansible, Helm charts, Bash, Terraform) coming from the RnD to project need (sizing, product)
  • Contribute (co write) to the guideline, installation guide, documentation, training materials in order to make engineering team autonomous on those technologies
  • Execute the acceptance test (application, security, high availability) to ensure the platform is setup properly

Support duties :

  • Support the engineering and delivery teams in the automated platform deployment.
  • Train the various engineering teams (RnD, Delivery) on the cloud-based technology and CI / CD tools on usage of platform and services that it provides
  • Communication duties :

  • Liaise with other cloud architects for all cloud-based matters from the various IBS product line, including the IBS Cloud Excellent Center
  • About you : Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or Information Technology related field)
  • Experience in system integration and deployment of cloud-based technology (IaaS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, monitoring system, authentication system, repository)
  • Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes technologies (including HELM Charts)
  • Experience in the field of software development (server-side development using either Java, C / C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Go, RUST)
  • Good experience in various database repository model (SQL like MySQL / PostgreSQL, Object Store like S3 / MinIO , NAS and Filesystem) as designer or administrator
  • Experience in a large and complex distributed system with high availability and high scalability (using an application server, message-broker service, streaming, load-balancing)
  • Experience in network protocol (SOAP / REST, HTTP, TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, WAF, gRPC)
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code language (e.g. Ansible, Terraform), scripting code (Bash, Python) and continuous automation principles (CI / CD e.g. Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux mainly and Window)
  • Kubernetes certification considered as a plus (such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD))
  • Cloud provider certification (AWS, GCP, MS Azure) would also be considered positively (such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) or or AWS Solutions Architect Professional (SAP)
  • Fluent in English (English Level C1 or above on the CEFR)
