What will you do?

Our products range from cloud native platforms to virtualized / cloudified TelCo network functions and affect thousands of people in todays connected world. We provide the best-in-class technology solutions and products to the Deutsche Telekom footprint in the European market and through the close collaboration with our local entities, we cater for millions of customers.

As a Product Manager you guide products through the entire lifecycle by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.

Your main tasks include :

  • Understand markets, competition and overall TDI strategy.
  • Deeply understand and communicate the problems of customers and users.
  • Have always the customers perspective in mind and be the ambassador for product excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with other platforms, marketing, legal, UX, etc. to drive the product design, roadmap, development, and launch activities.
  • Break down complex problems into product development steps and make thoughtful decisions based on data.
  • Monitor the quality and performance of the launched products, collect user feedback, and constantly drive for better overall user experience.
  • Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and status to a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor's or University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience building and delivering technical products.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of product management.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as Product Manager, including Product Management methodologies.
  • Experience in creating product strategy, roadmaps, discovering requirements, describing product features, and driving prioritization in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in orchestrating cross-functional teams to achieve product success from conception to launch.
  • Experience in measuring product success along key product metrics as well as supporting business case calculations.
  • Technical foundation in cloud architecture, virtualization, and telecom network functions (e.g., VNF, CNF).
  • Experience with agile work methods and DevOps principles.
  • Basic knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Engineering, Project Management, UX, Sales, Customer Support, Finance or Marketing.
