JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities :

  • Documentation Review :  Review and process import / export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of all trade-related documents and transactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and ensure the organization complies with all federal, state, and international laws.
  • Communication : Liaise with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade operations.
  • Audit Support :  Support internal and external audits related to trade compliance.

Qualifications :

  • Associate’s degree in business, international trade, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Knowledge of trade compliance regulations and practices. Previous experience with German trade compliance would be an advantage.
  • Experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and databases.
  • Language skills (Required) : B2 level German & B2 level English skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with trade compliance software and tools.
