What to expect :
- Perform CFD and thermal analysis for mechanical systems. Provide design engineering services for automotive components and subsystems.
- Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and thermal simulations in the fields of vehicle interior & exterior, lighting systems, under hood thermal management, HVAC systems.
- Validation and verification of CFD solutions and / or matching to experimental data.
- Support Design team in product design and development activities.
- Provide effective design solutions to optimize product functionality, reliability and stability. Perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements.
- Using computer programs such as MathCAD, MATLAB, Ansa, ANSYS to build models that simulate real-life events and conditions
- Creating computer models of products and processes to test design concepts and simulate performance before they are built or used.
- Analyzing complex data to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and other trends.
- Examining and testing prototypes to ensure that they meet design specifications
- Provide accurate and detailed reports of CFD results.
- Maintain complete documentations for CFD analysis and engineering methods.
What you bring along :
M.Sc. / M.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline required.
Practical design knowledge with CATIA V5 (Part Design and Generative Shape Design).CAE modelling experience or simulation with Ansa or comparable software.Independent and structured way of working, quick perception, reliability, sense of responsibility and assertiveness.Strong ability to analyze technical problems in a solution-oriented manner.Good communication skills in English (German skills are an advantage).
