Job description

Your responsibilities

  • Development of optical systems for new products,
  • Analysis and investigation of new approaches and technologies, as well as selecting suitable concepts for creating new products,
  • Development of concepts for technical solutions, as well as subsequent implementation,
  • Development and simulation of optical systems for use in wenglor products,
  • Building prototypes, testing, and analyzing the performance of optical assemblies,
  • Testing and validating materials used in the optical assemblies intended for series production,
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with the electronic development, mechanical design, and testing departments to develop a final product.

Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of Physics, with knowledge of optics being an advantage,
  • Ideally, experience in using optical simulation tools, such as Zemax Optic Studio, is appreciated,
  • Interest in working on and developing optical sensors in the wenglor portfolio,
  • Analytical approach to improving system architecture and measurement principles of sensors,
  • Initiative spirit to creatively approach interesting projects in the automation industry and the opportunity to develop your own ideas.
