Develop full-stack applications using React + TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js (TypeScript) / Java (Spring Boot or Quarkus) on the backend
Define, deploy, and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK (TypeScript)
Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, AuroraDB, S3, and related services
Containerize applications with Docker and deploy using Amazon ECS and ECR
Design and maintain microservices and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge
Build and manage CI / CD pipelines using GitLab CI / CD
Ensure system security, scalability, and observability using tools like IAM, CloudWatch, and X-Ray
Document the AWS Building Blocks
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

QualificationsQualifications

Proficient in Node.js / Java, React, and TypeScript

Solid understanding of REST APIs

Experience with Docker and cloud-native development

Experience with DevOps practices

Infrastructure as Code : AWS CDK with TypeScript preferred, Terraform is accepted

Serverless Architecture : Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS

Containerization : ECS (Fargate), ECR, Docker

CI / CD : GitLab CI / CD (pipelines, runners, deployment strategies)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is an advantage

Monitoring & Security : IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X-Ray

Things to know before departure :

Start : by arrangement - always on the 1st and th of the month

Working hours : full time (h); vacation days

Employment contract : Unlimited

Language skills : business-fluent English at C1 level; German is a plus

Flexibility & willingness to travel
