Customer Service Coordinator

Highlight : Ensures customer orders are entered into the ERP system to create the customer demand file for the production planning and optimization process. Prepare capacity files (MPS) and analyze the production needs and leveling. Prepares all shipping documentation and coordinates with production department to ensure on time delivery to the customer.

Job description

• Main contact for customer contracts / order issues;
• Generate and maintain daily production schedule ensuring priorities are clearly established; capacity planning including staffing requirements; generate rough cut capacity plans and detailed capacity requirements plans and resolve capacity constraints;
• Establish scheduling parameters to customer order fulfillment considering production efficiencies and inventory management guidelines; align with production department to ensure on time customer order fulfillment; resolve customer delivery shortages and create alternate delivery plans;
• Manage customer service rate / customer portal;
• Manage accuracy of BOM’s and transition of information between systems;
• Ensure customer requirements are kept according to demand and changes are rolled out effectively; monitor and control customer demand fluctuations to authorized limits within the frozen period;
• Escalate supply / productivity related issues; communicate order changes to production planning personnel;
• Generate order shipping documents to enable order fulfillment / shipment;
• Participate on creation and implement dock schedules for shipping all outbound shipments; coordinate with carriers / shipping / customer for problem free execution of new and revised window times; plan and schedule all outbound freight according to operational procedures;
