Senior Backend Engineer (They / She / He) [Paid relocation to Barcelona]

This position requires relocation to Barcelona. We will support you with the process, but candidates must be open and eligible to relocate.

YOUR MISSION

We are hiring for multiple teams at Glovo, with diverse scopes, User Acquisition Flow, Courier Fraud mitigation, Order Dispatching system, payments, etc. We are looking for someone that raises the bar in the team, leading initiatives, being a technical reference for other engineers and mentoring them.

• Work on challenging problems regarding large amounts of data processing (reads and writes).
• Lead technical projects that have a broad impact in the business.
• Keep our tier-1 system up and running ensuring that our business runs smoothly
• Mentor team members and share knowledge to make the team grow.
• Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles.
• Make our technology and our team scale as the business grows.
• Own your deliverables from start to finish.

• Participate in technical decisions.
