Job Description Location :

South-East Europe (covering Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia)

Hybrid role with frequent regional travel (60%+)

Key Responsibilities :

Lead business development for engineering / compound polymers across Bulgaria, Serbia, and Romania via a dedicated distributor (indirect channel)

Promote and sell high-performance materials including PEEK, PPS, PBT, PA (polyamide), POM, PSU, LCPs

Build and grow a customer base, especially in underdeveloped markets like Bulgaria and Serbia

Expand sales within an already established client base in Romania

Maintain a balanced focus between acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts (approx. 50 / 50)

Offer technical guidance on product selection and blending for customer-specific applications

Represent a global distributor’s product portfolio across the region

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify strategic opportunities

Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align sales efforts with broader goals

Track sales performance, generate reports, and forecast revenue trends

Ensure compliance with internal policies and uphold professional and ethical sales practices

Must-Have Qualifications :

Engineering degree - (ideally chemical / plastics, petro-chemical, minning) is a must have !

Experience in selling engineering or compound polymers, mixing them via indirect channel and with minimum one region (Ro / Bg / Se) with an open mind to expand via more countries, in future

Solid understanding of at least two advanced materials such as PEEK, PPS, PBT, PA, POM, PSU, or LCPs

Familiarity with their industrial applications in sectors like automotive or electronics

Proven track record in B2B sales within South-East Europe minimum one of the designed countries , as above

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus

Willing to travel extensively across the assigned markets

Commercial awareness and ability to consult technical buyers

Preferred Experience :

Exposure to distributor-side sales or partnership management

Knowledge of technical product blending and material compatibility

Strong use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

Capability to turn customer needs into tailored product offerings

Open mind, flexible, ready with new idea and solutions.
