Job descriptionPlan, prepare, and run manual tests (System Testing, SIT, Migration Testing) Create and manage test cases, test plans, and reports Identify bugs, track them to closure, and participate in defect review meetings Work with the team during test workshops to define scenarios and inputs Support additional testing stages like Sprint Testing, CI / CD, UAT, and NFT Share testing progress and results with stakeholders 5+ years of experience in software or data testing, ideally in banking or financial services Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud platforms Hands-on experience with Jira, Xray, and modern test management tools Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Good understanding of data quality, metadata, and automation concepts Excellent communication and teamwork skills ISTQB or similar testing certifications are a plus

About the Role :
We are looking for a Test Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team. You'll work on testing data flows and processes for large-scale software used in the banking domain. Your job will include writing and running test cases, identifying bugs, and making sure the data moves accurately and securely through different systems.
You'll collaborate closely with developers, testers, and analysts to ensure the software is high-quality, efficient, and reliable.
What You'll Do : Data Testing :
- Test how internal and reference data is received and processed
- Verify data movement between layers (Source Landing Bronze Silver Gold)
- Ensure data quality, tagging, and proper registration in data catalogs (like Unity Catalogue or Purview)
- Run use-case-specific tests for PCX, labelling algorithms, and curated datasets
