The Operational Technical Procedure Manager will support the refurbishment project by supporting the development of procedures and documentation including Operations and commissioning procedures for post refurbishment return to service of Cernavoda Unit 1. The Operational Technical Procedure Manager will work closely with the project team and the station to ensure that the work conducted in support of the refurbishment project adheres to its safety, licensing, budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Interface with the Operations, Engineering, Nuclear Safety and Licensing and document control Teams.
- Develop and support the development of procedures for refurbishment activities and post refurbishment return to service
- Ensures successful project delivery on assigned tasks.
- Ensures work and deliverables meet regulatory requirements
- Coordinate inputs, reviews and approvals from key stakeholders.
- Ensures the schedule is established, accurate, up to date and adhered to.
- Identify and communicate work progress.
- Completes all assigned project reports and ensure management is fully briefed on the status of the work assigned.
- Anticipates challenges and takes proactive mitigating actions to address them.
- Understands the impact of the work on the station’s safety and licensing basis
Requirements
Professional Knowledge and Experience :
Previous Control Room Operator or Shift Manager certification / authorization in a CANDU NPPPrevious experience for managing an Operational Documentation group or responsibility for safe configuration of a CANDU NPPPrevious experience in a CANDU NPP refurbishment projectPrevious experience in CANDU NPP startup commissioningExperience working with Nuclear Regulations and Licensing basis.Experience working with Engineering design basis documentationKnowledge of SNN / CNE management system and processes of the organization is preferred.Skills and abilities :
