Position Overview
As a Senior Endpoint & Collaboration Engineer within our Corporate IT Center of Competence (CoC) Smart Workplace, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating modern workplace services tailored to specific user personas across the global organization. Your focus will span Workspot VDI , Microsoft 365 (Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, Teams, Copilot,…), and Google Workspace (incl. Google Agent Space). You will also own the service and support structure for your area and be accountable for service costing and budgeting .
Key Responsibilities
Smart Workplace Architecture & Engineering
- Design and operate persona-specific digital workplace services (e.g., knowledge worker, production user, mobile user)
- Develop and manage VDI solutions based on Workspot , with a focus on client lifecycle, patching, performance, and automation
- Architect and support Microsoft 365 services including Intune , Autopilot , Azure AD , and Copilot
Integrate Google Workspace
services including Google Agent Space and related collaboration environments
Service Ownership & Operations
End-to-end responsibility for the services you manage, including service stability , availability , and support structuresEnsure 2nd / 3rd level support processes are in place and work closely with service providers and internal support teamsMonitor service performance and user satisfaction, and continuously improve service qualityService Costing & Budgeting
Define and track service costs and chargeback models in alignment with Corporate IT controllingProvide financial transparency and input for budgeting and cost optimization initiativesCollaborate with procurement and finance on pricing models for outsourced servicesSourcing & Supplier Management
Oversee outsourced services such as :Mobile Device Management (MDM)Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS)End-user support and device lifecycle servicesManage supplier performance, contracts, SLAs, and commercial aspects in collaboration with vendor managementCross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with security, infrastructure, compliance, and application teams to ensure integrated and compliant workplace servicesSupport global IT programs and workplace transformation initiativesQualifications
University degree in Information Technology or a related field5+ years of experience in modern workplace engineering or endpoint managementHands-on expertise in :Workspot VDI (client provisioning, maintenance, performance monitoring)Microsoft 365 : Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, Copilot,…Google Workspace & Google Agent Space,…Strong understanding of client OS management, device security, and enterprise identityExperience with service delivery and support structures (ITIL framework preferred)Fluent in English; German is a plusPreferred Skills
