Could you be the full-time  Project Manager in Bucharest we’re looking for?

Take on a new challenge and apply your signalling systems and projects expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Cristian and work alongside his professional and dedicated teammates.

You'll manage and coordinate the signalling systems execution according to the contractual requirements and customer expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, quality, different support functions), manage signalling systems related metiers and much more. You’ll specifically take care of signalling system execution, but also provide operational support to bid & project team.

We’ll look to you for :

  • As owner of the Project Management Work Package (WP), the Project Manager is QCDP accountable for all the activities of its WP.
  • Brings all necessary support, through expertise & resources to Projects to achieve QCD commitments.
  • Be responsible for the project governance. Define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance)
  • Proper transfer from tender to project
  • Ensure the coordination of works planification in accordance with Client traffic request (TMP)
  • Definition of Project objectives and main drivers (product / service performance, planning) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the Contract
  • Analysis of Critical Issue regarding the time constrain and propose solutions to mitigate
  • Ensures Site cohesion and constructive relations between partners.
  • Coordonation the development and maintenance of the Schedule in accord with Customer and Contract requirement
  • Ensure support for elaboration of the monthly or sectorial report.
  • Tracking the Physical Progress through Hand over table and site visit / verifications.
  • Define in advance project core team staffing, as well as its WP resources
  • Escalate when project resources available do not match the project needs
  • Alignment with contractual requirements and management of variation orders. Arbitration of Q,C,D,P re-baselining and change management at project level.
  • Proactive risk, saving and opportunity management
  • Management of the project progress and its KPIs, and reports to senior management, with transparency during the business / critical project reviews. The Project Manager is the representative of the project towards Alstom management.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards : Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, Project Management Manual
  • Alstom representative towards Customers and when applicable external stakeholders (Consortium, JV, etc)

Qualifications :

  • University degree or passionate in technical field
  • Experience in infrastructure / signalling / construction / turnkey projects
  • Expertise in complex multidisciplinary construction activities.
  • At least 5 years of experience in manage and coordination of railway field works.
  • IPMA certification is a plus
  • 5 years experience as : sub-system / component manager or qualified project manager
