As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be working in software development for automotive applications focusing on projects aiming to showcase and prototype newest technologies. So, if you want to be part of the team, send us your application!
In your new role you will :
- Develop embedded software solutions for automotive proof-of-concept system designs, starting from hardware abstraction levels up to the application layers
- Implement low-level microcontroller specific features into the system solution to achieve the highest performance
- Perform feasibility checks at system level , highlight gaps and find solutions for overcoming them
- Work with real hardware on your desk and perform live debugging & tracing
- Provide documentation and training materials for your software solutions and support onboarding regional / global technical marketing colleagues
- Work closely in a multi-disciplinary and cross-site team

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field5+ years of relevant working experience in automotive embedded software developmentApplication experience on automotive systems such as zone controllers , power distribution units, steering / braking / suspension systemsExperience in working with common automotive communication protocol sand standards (CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc.)Experience in C or C++ programming for microcontrollers and familiarity with common microcontroller peripheralsFamiliarity with tools like compilers ( GCC, Tasking), version control systems (SVN, GIT), debuggers ( J-Link, win IDEA, Lauterbach), etcBasic hands-on experience with hardware measurement and debugging ( using oscilloscopes, multimeters), understanding electronic schematics and basic hardware blocksMATLAB / Simulink know-how is a plusExcellent written and spoken English communication skillsBenefits
