Senior Tunnel Engineer

At TechBiz Global, we are providing recruitment service to our TOP clients from our portfolio. We are currently seeking a Senior Tunnel Engineer to join one of our clients ' teams in Barsov,Romania. Key Responsibilities

Plan and supervise all TBM tunneling activities, ensuring compliance with design and project requirements.

Monitor TBM operations, including advance rate, alignment, face pressure, and segment installation.

Coordinate with geotechnical and structural engineers, survey teams, and site management.

Manage on-site technical staff and subcontractors to maintain smooth and safe operations.

Resolve technical issues related to tunneling works and provide guidance on corrective actions.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments, and progress updates for stakeholders.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of tunneling processes and systems.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in tunnel construction, with at least 3 years in TBM-driven tunnels.

In-depth knowledge of TBM types (EPB, slurry, or hard rock) and tunneling best practices.

Experience working with international standards and large-scale infrastructure projects.

Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Ability to work full-time onsite in Brașov, Romania.
