The Opportunity

This is a key position supporting the Treasury Department.

Role & Responsibilities :

Payment Authorizations

  • Be responsible daily for all payment authorizations related to merchant flows, company payables and intercompany transfers on all systems
  • Ensure timely completion and confirmation   of all payments in accordance with company policies and in the line with control framework
  • Deliver accurate and timely bank statement reconciliations   daily
  • Monitor status of all payment processes and follow up timely in case of disruption
  • Deliver accurate KPI report daily

Daily cash and bank updates

  • Prepare daily cash position reporting daily
  • Coordinate funds needs and availability with all departments involved
  • Ensure sufficient funds on all accounts to support payments, while centralizing cash and minimizing FX balances and interest charges
  • Policy and Controls

  • Ensure payment policy application at all times
  • Assist to keep bank information up to date internally and externally, with specific attention to signatories and e-banking users
  • Support FX trading with files preparation, 4 eyes and FX rates controls
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Projects and Process Improvement

  • Contribute to projects involving payment system implementations, testing of new bank accounts, bank account connectivity
  • Participate to process improvement initiatives departmentally and cross-functionally
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 3 years work experience in Finance and / or Treasury with mid- to large-, publicly traded, multi-national corporations
  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Skills and Competencies

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines
  • Able to work in a highly controlled environment
  • Team player and able to work independently
  • Highly motivated self-starter thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (mainly Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Knowledge of e-banking applications and payment systems is a plus
