Job description

Senior Azure Network Engineer is required for a European leader in cloud implementation, application development and managed services working within the Healthcare sector in the UK.

Project Details :

6 Month Contract (extension)

Fully Remote

Responsibilities :

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
  • Design, develop and manage CI / CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible
  • Scripting in one of the languages such as Python, PowerShell and bash.
  • Work closely with internal cloud teams to contribute to the cloud strategy.
  • Azure services (Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Storage Account

Essential skills : Azure Networking :

  • Core network infrastructure [hub / spoke architecture, vNet, Subnets, NSGs, route-tables etc]
  • Hybrid connectivity [S2S vpn / ExpressRoute]
  • Private access to Azure services [Private DNS Resolvers, DNS Conditional forwarding for inbound / outbound]
  • Network security [Az Firewalls and policy management, East / West and North / South traffic scenarios]
  • Network troubleshooting skills – wireshark, network manager, firewall manager, tcpdump etc

    • Azure DevOps :

  • Azure git : pull-request template, branch protection, PR validation checks
  • Azure pipelines : CI and CD ymls, pipeline templates, pipeline variables, service-connections
  • IaC : Terraform, bash, powershell
