Our client is a multinational company, a market leader in the distribution of chemicals, looking for a Business Development Manager.

Business Development Manager - Water Treatment Division

With over 35 years of industry experience, our client specializes in providing B2B distribution solutions for industrial and specialty chemicals. The company is committed to excellence and innovation, meeting the diverse needs of our clients, reinforcing their position as a trusted partner in the chemical distribution sector.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the existing portfolio of customers, executing sales and developing the existing customer database of water operators, all over Romania.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market and develop new partnerships.
  • Build strategic, long-term partnerships, providing technical advice & support to the customers.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients to ensure profitability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Fully responsible for the product management and sales tasks dedicated to the role.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering would be a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Advanced English knowledge, both written and spoken.
  • Experience using MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Driving license & willingness to travel extensively around the country.
  • Results-oriented attitude, capable to identify customer needs and translate them into business plans.
  • Relevant working experience in sales of raw materials for waste and drinking water treatment plants, and existing knowledge & network within this market, will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to evaluate various aspects of negotiations.
