A Snapshot of Your Day :

In your role as Fixed Assets Analyst, you will look for clarification of accounting issues, analysis of errors, initiation of any vital corrections and involvement in improvement in execution activities or initiatives. You will take ownership of daily Fixed Assets transactions and month-end-closing activities and ensure they are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP quality standards or any other relevant regulations and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Process and confirm changes of Fixed Asset Master Data and process capitalization, ensuring the depreciation will run accurately.
• Process asset disposals (scrapping, sales, write offs), perform intercompany & intracompany asset transfers and extract inventory lists for the fixed assets stock taking.
• Preparing monthly reports for assets under construction and process budget allocation and the WBS element creation according to capital expenditure requests
• Ensuring stability in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, providing support and information required for internal controls.
• Supporting the Senior and Principal Analysts in preparing internal controls documentation in Fixed Assets accounting. You will also have a supporting role in internal and external audits by providing timely and qualitative information and resolving queries from the auditors (where applicable for the assigned countries / legal entities and tasks).
• Continuously updating the DTP (Desktop Procedure) documentation for existing processes and are involved in the creation of DTPs for new processes / variances. You will be contributing and engaging in standardizing and automating our workflows, Fixed Assets processes and our cross-functional processes throughout the company.
