Join Our Team as a CENT Operations Engineer!

Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for maintaining seamless IT operations? We're looking for a talented Advanced Application Operation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Advanced Application Operation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting operational activities and managing end-to-end ownership for the SBUS, TMT, and VFP applications.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide end-to-end responsibility for SBUS, TMT, and VFP in the Vodafone DE production environment.
  • Analyze, solve, and document incidents and problems according to Vodafone DE processes.
  • Manage incident and problem tickets with multiple teams and partners.
  • Ensure all KPIs of delivery are met.
  • Evaluate change requests regarding their application and business impact.
  • Perform proactive / preventive maintenance and system improvements.
  • Build and run scripts and operational tools for monitoring and automatic error handling.
  • Support migration of new and changed software and perform production checks.
  • Initiate and manage communication with vendors and partners regarding problem and service requests.

What We're Looking For :

  • Graduation degree in technology or a related field. 5-7 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the telecom domain.
  • Expertise in IBM MQ, Shell scripting, SQL / PL SQL, Apache Tomcat, SAP DQM, HTTP(s)-SSH protocol, Tomcat, WebLogic, and Telecom knowledge.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, SOX, and KPI.
  • Experience in application operations and telecommunications.
  • Strong problem-solving and tracking skills.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English; German language experience is desired.
