Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Business Analyst to support the ongoing evolution of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) capabilities and be confident in advocating configuration over customization, particularly when engaging with stakeholders on technical solutions. This role involves working across multiple areas of the platform to design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals .

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements across various ServiceNow modules.

Promote the use of Out-of-the-Box features to maximize platform efficiency and maintainability.

Challenge proposed custom solutions when configuration can adequately meet business needs.

Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria .

Work across multiple areas of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.

Support testing, training, and change management activities related to platform enhancements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, product, and operational teams.

Skills & Experience

Solid understanding of ServiceNows OOTB capabilities across multiple modules.

Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

Ability to critically assess technical proposals and guide stakeholders toward optimal platform usage.

Comfortable working across different ServiceNow modules.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in writing clear documentation, user stories, and process flows.

Desirable Qualifications

ServiceNow Fundamentals or Business Analyst certification.

Experience with ITSM, ITOM, SAM, or other ServiceNow modules.

Familiarity with configuration vs. customization principles in enterprise platforms.
