Data Engineer (with Spark)

Job Title : Data Engineer with Spark

Mission :   We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our partner team, contributing to the governance of Big Data and decision-making platforms by integrating data from savings, provident, health, and property management systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate within a Data Engineering team following Agile methodologies.

Work with large-scale databases and deliver back-end data solutions from design through development to implementation.

Analyze, produce, assemble, and validate software components both technically and functionally.

Conduct unit and integration testing.

Support users and address data-related issues.

Maintain up-to-date documentation for the domain.

Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

Monitor production systems to ensure smooth operation.

Profile / Requirements :

• 2-5 years of experience as a DataLake Developer or in a similar Data Engineering role.
• Strong experience with Cloudera Data Platform 7.1.9.
• Mandatory experience with Hive for data storage.
• Strong skills with Big Data tools such as Spark, Java, and HQL scripting.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Shell scripting.
• Good level of French is a significant advantage, with openness to learning and improving professionally with support.
