What's this role about?

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware and software assets;
• Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets to make sure they comply with vendor contracts in the existing software tools;
• Apply a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) tool throughout their lifecycle;
• Collaborates with stakeholders on strategies and implementation of asset improvement initiatives;
• Manage inventory of Assets and Configuration Items (Cis), including dependencies and attributes, making sure that modifications, withdrawals, and additions of existing ones are correctly recorded by the teams in charge in the tools to ensure that the vendor contracts are complied with;
• Managing and maintaining databases and records for IT Hardware, the respective agreements, and warranties for the existing assets/new purchases;
• Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and CIs and their status; also perform trend analyses;
• Define and maintain documentation of policies, procedures, processes, and reports concerning IT assets and configuration management;
• Collect and centralize IT asset forecast and manage the stock replenishment process to fit the Company`s requirements;
• Contribute to M&A projects to discover, standardize and align all IT assets to the Company`s standard asset catalogue.

What skills and experience do you need?

Key Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance / Economics / Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or alternate;
• Demonstrated experience in Asset Management (managing day-to-day operations using a HAM tool/CMDB);
• Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware;
• Knowledge of contract management;
• Experienced in vendor management and negotiation skills;
• Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Excellent time management qualities;
• ITIL Foundation certification (or similar certifications) are a plus;
• Excellent at performing multiple tasks at the same time without erring;
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written).
